Prevention as defined at Dictionary.com reads, “The act of preventing or impeding.” As far as your health goes how does this apply? It is all about preventing a disease before it can occur. Can this be done? Why of course it can. Can it be done without a conscience outlook on how you live your life? No, not the majority of the time. I will admit that there are a few people that live a lifestyle that doesn't take prevention into account and they make it to a ripe old age without any apparent problems. These folks are few and far in-between, as most people will fall prey to one or more of our modern diseases that are causing Americans to be the un-healthiest society on the planet. America has the most sophisticated medical system in the world but is listed by the World Health Organization below many third world countries.

Let’s face it our medical system, as we know it is not preventing disease and for many is not curing any diseases either. Some would even go so far as to say the system is a miserable failure. I am a firm believer that it is better to prevent a disease that to try and recover from one. It seems that most have forgotten or never even heard the wise old saying “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” There is incredible wisdom in this statement and it is time that more Americans paid attention to it. When the Anthrax scare occurred a few years ago and there was not enough vaccine to go around, the government made the statement to “strengthen your Immune System.” That is the final answer, and it cannot happen overnight. This site and all of my work is about helping the body achieve a higher level of health. Strengthen your Immune System and you cannot get sick, it takes time but may be simpler than you think. Thousands of people that have been given up on by the modern medical system and sent home to die have experienced full recovery and are living full lives. Using the bodies’ own ability to heal itself, with the proper elements of course they have proven it can be done.
